Yeah, Veteran was the hook for me, too.
I was watching 'Heavy Metal' one night, and saw in the end credits that
Veteran was co-written by Eric and Michael Moorcock. I went out the next day
to find what album that was on, found it, and also found Black Blade. Bought
FoUO and CE for the Moorcock Connection, then I listened to the rest of the
songs, thought, "They're pretty good!", and have been a rabid BOC fan since.
