Well, I have all 3 Portishead albums but until I read this I had no idea there
was a Hawkwind connection. But on checking the credits on the NYC Live
album, there he is, Clive Deamer. Who was a Hawk for, what, 3 months or
something?

I find the whole concept of this kind of completism a bit baffling. Example:
I bought one Lloyd-Langton Group 12" and thought it was terrible. That
was enough to convince me I didn't want to buy anymore. In all honesty it
would never occur to me to buy a record I thought was crap just because
there was some vague connection with a band I liked. But hey, each to his
(or her... though I suspect this kind of collecting is a predominantly male
activity) own.
