As William has allready said, the announcements were rather late. Given the short time frame, the
guy who organised it all actually did a fine job of it, but I agree that some more publicity would have
helped a lot. One of the guys I was with at Studio 22 and the Metro actually lives 5 minutes from
Happy Vallley yet didn't know it was on, and a few people I spoke too at Studio 22 only heard about
it that morning when they announced it on 2JJJ.

As far as I know, I was one of about 3 or 4 who came up from Melbourne for the gigs, all of whom
heard about it from me because I was lucky enough to be contacted about it due to my involvement in
the previous tour attempt 2 years before. Every one else there (the Metro) I guess would have been
from Sydney.

Dave and Kris - are you listening? If 2001 is still on the cards then the more time there is to organise
the better it will be. By alll accounts 2000 was successful but I'm sure we can achieve at least
double the gigs and double the capacity ..... pending availability of sufficient cash (as always) to
make it happen of course
