Well it just so happens that at the end of the month my (UK based)
webzine will be taking credit card orders for artists reviewed
through a (US based) 3rd party transaction dealer.  Which means
everyone has to pay in dollars, but whats new.  We will be acting
as brokers for acts who don't have the time / energy / patience to
do it themselves.

So it can be done.
