CD Player Advice Requested

I have a three CD changer (Mitsui) and I find that it wont read a small
number of CDs at all.  In particular it has a complete downer on any Spocks
Beard.  More regretably it doesnt like PO90s Afterlifecycle which is a bit
more critical.
All these CDs work fine in the supercheapo blaster we have in the kitchen.
