With myself, & many of the friends I have who, like myself, do not have any
interests in any drugs stronger than tea, we found ourselves attracted to
the band more for their science fiction elements, as opposed to the drug
links. I also have had an interest in their particular style of music since
I was a very, very young kid, when I heard the music to British childrens TV
shows of the early 60's, such as Doctor Who & Space Patrol (the British
puppet show, not the American series. Now there is a really wierd
soundtrack!).
