yeh - if I read it right on the Sony press release, Todd Rundgren tried
something like that - you paid something like ten dollars a month to
download 12 exclusive tracks over a year, and then, lo and behold, the album
comes out on general release a while later, after the year is out and the
money has rolled in. Musicians with regard for the fans where finances are
concerned, may be hard to find these days in some quarters.
