I believe it was a case of parallel evolution, though EB sure perfected
it.  Back in the days, there wasn't a frontman in rock who could
compare to EB's look and stage presence...

Poor EB hasn't fared as well as the others in BOC, against the
assault of old age.  Who'd have figured Allen would even be alive
today?  He looked like hell 25 years ago, yet remains almost
unchanged.  Hard to imagine BD's over 50.  Al, IMHO is the most
youthful of the original band, looking to be in his late 30s instead of
50-plus.  Don't know what his secret is...
