There is one!  Ben Cohen is the moderator for the boc-l group and
IMO does a brilliant job by remaining totally inconspicuous until
you urgently request his help about something in connection with the
mailing list at which point he responds immediately - such has been
my experience!

A code to strip out html would be beautiful since it's only there
that the problem lies.   It would enable anything the sender wishes
to say to be read easily, simply and without clutter which would
benefit the sender, the reader and almost everybody in between.
However I suspect that this is impossible to do because it would
also strip out loads of other much more useful coding which would
mean that no mail would get through at all.   Which would be sad.
So in the meantime I guess we just rely on people being considerate
and I'm sure that most people, in the long run, are.
