        The Woronzow band i question is The Alchemysts, which doesn't
feature Adrian (or indeed Nick Saloman). Should make that clear at the
risk of disappointing people.

        Indeed, if this comes off it will be great but we can't yet say it
will.

        Now this is the problem. I mean, the e-mail address you give there
is incorrect, but it's not up to us at the moment. What *will* help is if
anyone on list knows Alan Davey's phone number they can ring him and ask
him for all the gods' sake to ring us before we lose our booking on the
dates; when Bedouin say whether they can or can't come we can sort the
rest almost instantly, but at the moment if they don't confirm one way or
the other we'll lose our booking because of waiting.

        The Society itself has its hands tied at the moment and contacting
them will do nothing.
