ACK, you're totally right, the book's many times better.

BTW: The first time I watched this flick I wasn't well versed in Hawklore
(that was years ago mind you). I only knew that both the Quark-album and DA
were released in 1977. I thought that this couldn't be coicidental and thus
was waiting for some HW-tunes to show up the whole time the movie was
playing. When the end-titles began I couldn't believe that there was not
even one HW-song in the whole thing. ;-)
