Hello friends,
just a quick note to let you know what's happening with Sloterdijk;

At the time of this writing, we have taken the first steps to book some
spring shows in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. The way it is
working, is that a local band(s) in town X, provides local support and
books the show. We split the bill, and the draw 50/50.

personnel changes:
Many of you may have seen a three to four man lineup for the shows we
played in the U.S. last summer.
This spring marks the return of the two man lineup. Rob Eckstedt may
appear on bass from time to time, however most gigs will probably be
just Jay Adcock and myself. I have no plans to expand the lineup again
for awhile. The only reason that Rob might not be with us, is because of
geographical logistics.

Those of you who have seen Sloterdijk in europe have always seen the
solo lineup of just me. It is my hope to return to europe before
summer's end for at least one festival, however I will not be touring
there this summer in the traditional manner. In addition, I may bring
Jay with me for one of these gigs, providing he can go. He wants very
much to play to a european audience, but hasn't yet had the opportunity.

England, Germany and The Netherlands are primary targets for me at this
time, so consider it likely that Sloterdijk will play in one or more of
these countries this summer.

The new album:
I am still working on the final mixes for two of the tunes, as well as
running order and cover art. There are a few individuals to whom I plan
to distribute promo copies, about 1 month prior to the general release
of the material. If no other contract arrangement is made etc, then the
disc will be released through mp3.com and will be ( at least for awhile)
available exclusively from them.

The title will be: Sloterdijk: Uranium Zone

titles include but not all inclusive of:

Uranium Zone
Seti 79
Automaton I
Iron Lung
Passions
Anomolies
and more...

Acoustic shows:
There will be at least a couple of acoustic appearances this spring.
Beltane Celebration at Fergie's Pub in Philadelphia will be belated as a
result of a scheduling problem. I will release details later.

Peace, MIke
