HW: RoadHawks, Book, Opal Butterfly

Just a quick question?  If I may......

Looking at this from a legal moral viewpoint here:

If an album was completely unavailable via the normal record outlets etc
((not including ebay or 2nd hand gear)) and there was no immenent release
dates available -

would it be morrally and legally acceptable for someone to make a cdr copy
from a Hawkfan who has a vinyl copy?

On that note, if such a venture did occur, does anyone know how Dave, Kris
and the whole gang
might feel about it??
I mean would we be branded scabs of humanity or something??
Or would they know that we are LOYAL and loving fans who would happily turn
the cdr into a beer coaster once the album was re-released and safely amidst
our collections??
