The June issue of Aural Innovations: The Global Source For SpaceRock
Exploration is now online. Aural Innovations covers spacerock, psychedelia,
electronic music, plus more eclectic forms of jazz and progressive rock.
New radio shows are on the way. We're pleased to announce that The Kozmik
Ken Experience has joined Aural Innovations and Ken's first show with us
with debut later this week.
Announcement: I continue to mention this but everyone should note that
Strange Trips will be bringing Harvey Bainbridge and Mr Quimby's Beard to
the USA in late October or early November. In place of the full weekend
outdoor Strange Daze festival, this year a smaller event will take place in
Cleveland. Keep your eyes on www.strange-trips.com for the latest
information. There will also be a tour in the weeks around the Cleveland
event so anyone who thinks they can host a show should contact Jim Lascko at
jmfinity at strange-trips.com.
The new issue includes:
Sloterdijk (review/interview)
Blue Lily Commission/Stephen Palmer (review/interview)
Bret Hart/InstrumenTales (reviews/interview)
What Exactly Comes After Post-Rock? Part One of an Audio Journey: The
Hypnotists (article and audio)

The Aural Innovations mail order catalog has been growing in leaps and
bounds!!! Thanks to all who have taken the plunge. Check it out for CD's by
some of the best bands that you have, and maybe haven't, heard of. New in
stock is Flourescent Tunnelvision, a 2-CD compilation of some of space rock
and psychedelia's more adventurous bands. This is the long awaited follow up
to 1999's Turn Century Turn: Space Rock & Psychedelia From Around The Globe.
Other new items include the second CD from Daevid Allen's University Of
Errors, the CD release of Mushroom's Compared To What with bonus tracks not
on the LP, Quarkspace's new Spacefolds 7, plus much much more.
