HW:strangest opening acts (was OFF: Quarkspace et al.)

Hopefully, someone can provide the identity of the male acoustic guitar
playing singer that opened at the Space Ritual show at the Santa Monica
Civic Auditorium (12/73) and again at the Space 1999 Party at the Embassy
Auditorium, Los Angeles before Man's set ('74.)  Apparently, a friend of the
band, but not of the audience as he was cut short with boo's and a hail of
marshmallows.

OK, folks, what was the strangest opening act you've seen for Hawkwind?  My
vote would have to go to either
A. Sex Kittens or
B. the Limelight Cage Dancer...
