Other examples:
* Greg Ginn & Dez Cadena of Black Flag (I think it's in 'Flipside' magazine
where Dez interviewed Hawkwind back in '89 or '90 and talks about Black
Flag's first UK tour, where, when they had a night off, their hosts
asked, "so, who do you want to go see - Damned? UK Subs? Stranglers?
Exploited?" etc., to which they answer, "we wanna see HAWKWIND", very much
to the confusion of their hosts).
* John Lydon of the Sex Pistols (mentioned in his auto-bio ... too bad the
rumor that he was a roadie for them isn't true!)
* Throbbing Gristle (of course, Genesis P. Orridge is on the same Nik album
that J.B. is)

Not likely, since he grew up in the Denver area. However, he DID get his
band's name from one in Cleveland ...

But he really hates Yes (and will inform you if he sees you wearing one of
their t-shirts)!
