:Hah.   Even for Hawkwind that's some hike!   I've just recalculated
:my rucsack load down to a tenth the size it was previously and added
:some hiking boots!      As an alternative though it's tempting to
:simply raid the piggy bank,  find the nearest big town that *does*
:run a taxi service and pay the extra mileage.    I have my age to
:think of after all ................  8-)    Maybe if other folk are
:travelling around the same time we could arrange to meet up

Alternately, if they have parking, we could meet up somewhere and
rent a car (or cars, depending on the amount of people we get.)
