If you listen to the albums they do grow on you,it took me a while to get
into them, now I love all the 90's material.STEPHE

Errrmmm... 10 years in my case.
Terrible but true. Used to see them regularly in the '80s, Hammersmith
Odeon '89 being the last time... then didn't see 'em again until Croydon
'99.
Why? Thought they were washed up- didn't rate Xenon Codex or Space Bandits,
in fact I was greatly saddened by Space Bandits- I just thought, well, the
best band in the world have finally lost it, and I preferred to let my Hawk-
appreciation rest in peace.
It was years before I finally heard some of the 90's material and realised
they were still doing the business.
I still don't particularly like either of the above albums although they
don't upset me as much as they once did! Other people love them, I know,
but there you go.
Three gigs in the last 5 months have gone some way to making up for this
appalling lapse.
