Are you allowed to count back before 1969, since seeing Hawkwind before
then would have required a time machine?  ;^)

If I start counting from the point at which I discovered Hawkwind
(fall '84), it would be almost exactly 5 years (to fall '89).  Since then,
the longest strech would be 4-1/2 years (fall '90 to spring '95).  And now
it's been almost 3 (or 4, depending on how you count the Brock-less
performance at Strange Daze '98) ... time to get that US Passport ...
