Besides a few extended Pink Fairies/Deviants tracks (especially the
Glastonbury version of "Uncle Harry's Last Freakout"), this is the one spot
where he *really* got to stretch out like he wasn't able to do as a sideman
for Eno or Calvert (or playing punk rock on the Deviants' "Screwed Up" EP).

No problem. Like I mentioned before, note that the tracks on which Victor
Unit plays lead guitar also include Rudolph on dueling lead (and also note
that there's NO guitar on the 3 tracks Rudolph doesn't play lead on).
Twink - 'Think Pink' (1970)
1) The Coming of the One
2) Ten Thousand Words In A Cardboard Box (Twink/Junior)
3) Dawn of Majic
4) Tiptoe on the Highest Hill
5) Fluid
6) Mexican Grass War
7) Rock and Roll the Joint
8) Suicide
9) Three Little Piggies (Twink/Took)
10) The Sparrow is a Sign (Twink/Took)
Twink - lead vocal (1,2,4,8), vocal effects (1,5), vocals (9,10),
drums (all except 6), tablas (1), congas (7), acoustic guitar (8)
Paul Rudolph - lead guitar (all except 1,3,9), acoustic guitar (4,8),
vibes (8), vocals & percussion (9), bass & chimes (10)
Steve Peregrin Took - lead vocals (10), vocal effects (1), pixie horn (1),
rhythm guitar (10), vocals & percussion (9)
John Povey - sitar (1), mellotron (2,4,8) [Pretty Things]
John Junior Wood - bass (2,4,8) [Tomorrow, Aquarian Age]
Honk - bass (5,7) [Quiver]
Victor Unit - lead guitar (5,7) [Pretty Things, Edgar Broughton Band]
Walley Waller Allen - piano (5) [Pretty Things]
Silver - vocal effects (5), spoken words (7), vocals & percussion (9)
Mick Farren - spoken words (7)
Boss Goodman - vocals & percussion (9) [road manager]
Viv Prince - drums (6) [ex-Pretty Things]
Knights of the Fairy Sword - vocals (3)
Pink Fairies Motorcycle Club and All-Star Rock and Roll Band - percussion
(6,9), vocal effects (6), handclaps (7), vocals (9)
"Silver", of course, was Twink's girlfriend at the time (happy couple
pictured on the back cover). No credits as to who the "Knights" or "PF's
MC and all-star R&R band" are, but I'm sure it's safe to assume that the
latter included Duncan Sanderson & Russell Hunter of the Deviants/Pink
Fairies.
Does anyone know if "Junior" Wood is the same John Wood who was an Island
Records staff engineer in the 1970's (who engineered John Cale's 3 LP's on
Island during that time)?
