I'll definitely second this selection!  Playing in a Devo tribute band
(even though I wasn't the drummer) made me really appreciate his work, from
having to listen intently to the original songs, and seeing how hard our
drummer (who was very very good) worked to keep up with the original parts.

(Plus - this is entirely hearsay - I've heard that Devo were inspired to
make the transition from "art project" to "real band" after meeting
Hawkwind - who they were definitely fans of - on one of their American
tours [circa 74/75].)
