The biggest plus for me was being able to carry 6 - 8 hours of music on
one mp3 CDR (I rip as VBR ~200kbit). I can also do CD-RW. I have the
Expanium 401. It doesn't have ID3 support (maybe the new 503 will). I won't
buy anything that supports DRM (Digital Rights Management).
