Duane did play 2 gigs with DatD.  And I saw one of them, up here in
liittle ole Syracuse.  The other show was someplace in Florida.  I
was a huge Clapton fan at the time, but the record had just come
out and I hadn't heard it yet.  Imagine my chagrin when this dude I'd
never seen before [and didn't even know his name at the time] was
blowing EC off the stage!  Duane was absolutely on fire the whole
night.  Clapton did play well, but it was Duane's night that gig...
