Well... xHawkwind were reasonable, Terry Ollis and Thomas Crimble were
particularly good in the rythm section. Richie havens was fantastic, and
there was this guy called Judge Trev who played acoustic in the Mandala
tent, hippie rock and roll on the Las Vagueness roller disco stage, and a
blinding country and western spot in the exclusive, evening dress casino
restaurant. God, you should see him wiggle his hips, girls fainting all
over the place etc, honest.
What really got me was the rope cutter blade along the top of the new
fence - designed to cut ropes - and the hands and wrists of anyone who tried
to get over it!
