HW Fest: cool places to go

Selectadisk on Berwick St, actually had a good range of Hawk stuff last time
I was in, and it was a bunch cheaper than anywhere else.  Go there before
you hit any megastoreplaces. Tower is best for Japanese imports :-) But
expensive. HMV probably do have the best range of stuff.  If you're looking
out for ambient stuff at all check out Ambient Soho(now moved to camden)
they have alot of deleted planet dog stuff and other weirdness you won't
find elsewhere.  If you're into world/ethnic music of any sort head to
Warren Street Tube Stop, and there is a beautiful world music shop nearby,
though the name escapes me for the minute(Can anyone remind me?).

Close by Picadilly circus  is the biggest bookshop in Europe(Waterstones),
though not as cool as the specialist shops, it does have a massive stockpile
of books.
