In the USA, it's a million copies (1,000,000). Obviously, it makes sense
that it would be a smaller number for the smaller UK market (as described
in Si's post). I certainly can't imagine Hawkwind being a platinum-
selling band (except perhaps in the list's collective dreams), though. The
theory that it's a silver album, not a platinum one, makes lots of sense to
me ...
Sales figures for Hawkwind albums would be an interesting trivia item (to
me, at least), but would probably be impossible to compute worldwide.
