It is in our nature to destroy ourselves one way or another.  Mars will eventually end up like earth - unless there is an extrordinary turn around in consciousness - and another move will be reuired untill we eventually run into another species out there who thinks we taste positivly delicous and has us as an entree.  At least the Christians etc will get a bit of a giggle at the athiests.
