HW: how long, how many, and why

:a little Hawkwind poll:
:*Hawkwind fan: since about 1985 or so.
:*how many CD's: ~100 or so.  with a bunch on cassette that I'm still
upgrading.  misc vinyl.

:*collects live recordings and other Hawkwind junk: yep.  Although I tend
to not go out of my way for such things.  Yet.....

:*why a Hawkwind fan: Hawkwind is one of the few bands that encapsulates
in music what I feel as a science fiction fan.  Not that I can describe
that further, but I get transported when I listen.  At times, it's damn
near like a drug, and I crave the music.

:*First album you picked up: Live Chronicles, maybe?  My memory is a bit
fuzzy...

:*Seen live how many times: about 20.  Not bad considering I live on the
wrong damn continent.
