HW: BBC Tardis court case

It seems that the BBC have just won an ongoing court case with the Metropolitan Police over who owns the copyright and/or trademark to the blue police public call box that we all know as the Tardis.  The case have been rule in favour of the BBC because, although the Met designed/invented the box, it has been almost entirely identified with Doctor Who for many years, since the call box disappeared from the streets long ago.
An interesting and relevant legal precedent, perhaps?
