Or what about _The Futurological Congress_?  But I guess they
already kind of did that one and called it _The Matrix_...

PS: _The Cyberiad_ would be fun, maybe as an anime.  I'm not into
anime, but I saw _Spirited Away_ before Xmas and was totally blown
away...
