OFF: Organ TV

Midnight tonight on Sky Channel 687 (Open Access, the channel that brings you John Otway's show the Cube).  T.V. version of the underground music magazine.  Haven't seen a copy for years and thought it had fallen by the wayside, obviously not....
Why's it Hawkwind-related?  They've reviewed and interviewed the band several times over the years and were/are staunch supporters of the psych/underground/free festival music scene, championing bands such as the Ozrics, Bevis Frond, The Cardiacs, Omnia Opera, Poisoned Electrick Head and many others when nobody else in the music press gave a stuff.  They had the refreshingly positive policy of only reviewing demo tapes if they liked them, but often more critical of established acts, may of the recommendations I followed up from there proved very worthwhile.  The comic strip adventures of Wiggle in earlier issues even featured a cartoon Dave Brock piloting a traveller's bus to a free festival in outer space.  With a talking hamburger as a passenger.
Gotta be worth a look!
