You're both right.  According to Keith Henderson's review [1], it
was:
Steve Taylor - bass
Steve Hayes  - synths

"The Steves from Cleveland" is how they were described at the
time as I recall :-)

My Wine works.  However it crashes about half the time on startup.
Apparently their simulation of windoze API is getting too accurate.  :)
