BOC: 'Joan Crawford" video

Hello BOC-L,

I managed to catch the "Joan Crawford" video on VH1 Classic earlier this evening -- and a mighty weird video it is -- and I
noticed that in a few scenes Al seems to be using a small branch instead of a drumstick.  I'm not sure whether both sticks were
replaced or if it was just the one.  Everyone else is using regular instruments, and Al uses normal sticks for the rest of the
clip.
Anyone know the story on this?  Al?  Did you lose one or break one during the shoot?  Do branches give you some kind of "special
sound"?  Does the bark come off in your hands during concerts?  Are there bugs in the wood?
