I rather like the idea of Dame Maggie myself, though I think any of the
first four might work.  I think Lenny would be a disaster, however, Don
Warrington (Rising Damp & Manchild) would, I think , make a perfectly
splendid Doctor!!

I'd also heard the Alan Davies rumour - that might work, but probably too
close to Jonathan Creek.
