Freewheelers club on Wood Street.

This might interest anyone who lived in Merseyside during the late 1980s
and who remembers the considerable numbers of people who were into
Progressive Rock/Psychedelia. Hawkwind aren't mentioned but they were
certainly up there with the other bands.
