hi there
i am sorry to hear that your dvd doesnt play on your DVD player.
one way round it but its not straightforward and it might not work either is
to rip the DVD onto the hard drive on your computer and convert it to NTSC
and then burn it as a SVCD onto a couple of CD-R's.
but then your DVD player must be able to play SVCD's
you could also copy it to DVDR after converting it to NTSC but then your DVD
player might not play DVDR's
colm
ps. i dont think its illegal to make a copy of the disc if you already own
an original copy
