Andy Kershaw was interviewed on Channel 4 news last night and stated
that the last time he saw him (about 3 weeks ago) Peel looked awful.
Peel confirmed he *felt* awful and complained that being bumped to the
11pm - 1am slot on R1 wasn't doing him any good at all.  Kershaw pretty
much suggested the BBC schedulers had killed him off.  Controversial...
