Interesting links. The only person I'd heard of before is Pierre Schaeffer.
I'm gonna look into all these guys. Morton Subotnick has got a really nice
website http://www.mortonsubotnick.com with alot of cool graphics of old
computers and electronics etc.

On a more modern note, check this stuff out - http://www.micromusic.net.
There is a whole load of people making lo-fi music using old 8-bit
computers. Turn your sound up when you visit the website.
