.yes a bit of a sweeping statement, but for the older lot, glowing memories
of euphoria associated with music is one of the prime reasons for liking a
particular band - and one often tends to overlook the current stark reality
because of this. (this doesn't apply to jj however...)
anyway i was a bit drunk when i wrote that...cough!
i always associate hawkwind with being involved in a fatal car accident on
the way home from a gig in barnstaple - it was the first time i had seen
them.
