I was just referencing the fact that audio CDs are
remarkably difficult to extract an exact bit-for-bit copy of
the audio data from, thus making it very hard to back up or
convert to another storage format.  I know there *is* error
correction data in there, but it requires somewhat
specialized equipment and software, correctly configured, to
make use of it, and even then it's an iffy business...
