OFF: Gong (w/ Hillage) at Burg Herzberg '09

Hi Folks...

Have just checked the Burg Herzberg (central Germany) webpage for the first time in awhile, and see that they've already got about 10 acts lined up for next year's fest.

By far, the most interesting act is Trilogy Gong, with Steve Hillage again onstage!  Super...so the Amsterdam and London gigs were just the beginning of Hillage playing old-school space rock again!  Now, if only Hawkwind would sign up to come back again this (next) year.  With luck, they wouldn't have the miserable rain problems and off-night that they had last time ('05 was it?).  (And Amon Duul two, too, who have brought back Danny Fischelcher on drums to replace the sadly-departed H.P. Leopold, and are planning to tour soon.  The great Space Rock triumvirate all on one stage in one weekend...what a rush that would be!)
