Hi Owen
I agree with all you've said, often times people try to tell me to vote democrat because the candidate is the better of the 2, I don't think that's what the founding fathers had in mind, being from MA I had to vote on the marijuana initiative. After all Washington, and many others were farmers. Glad you got your med.s,that stuff would wipe me out, I'd have a headache forever (with each second being a total hell, then I'd really need some valium. Too early to think about that kind of thing, it just goes to show, how different we're all wired.

A good deal of the world really likes Obama and wanted him to win. It feels
good to have a president who's not an evil moron puppet who embarrasses the
country every day. That said, it's not like our election process isn't
fucked up for all the foreseeable future. It will be fucked up so long as
the Democrats and Republicans prevent third party candidates from
participating in debates whilst they're ignored by the media. Third parties
are frightening because they tend to complicate all the dialogue by
discussing issues in sufficient detail. In my state, Massachusetts, Obama
was sure to win so I voted for Ralph Nader although he's no longer even
affiliated with the Green party (there was no way the Green Party nominee
was going to win the 5% of the vote needed to qualify them for funding in
the next election). This was certainly a victory though and Obama's a class
act, even if he's not going to go far out of his way to upset the status
quo.
Also, after months living in withdrawal and hellish despair, *I've just
reclaimed my amphetamine prescription. Thx Obama!!!...!!!!!!!!! Oh frabjous
day!!!!!!!!!!!!...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*
