I play so badly, I think the guitar would stop anyone with bad intentions.
They'd be  begging me to stop playing.  I'm sorting through missed emails,
thus the delay between when this topic was active till now. I couldn't
resist responding to your post.

Indeed, but the odds are not so good with the gun if one is surprised.
Martial arts skills are much more handy.  My 7-year-old has been in karate
class for a couple years now.  Even for her size and age, when she hits you,
you _know_ you've been hit.  Come the teen years, the "worrying about boys"
thing may take on a whole new meaning.
