Choosing hotel for 40th anniversary gig Travelodge?

That's exactly what's needed! Travelodge are basic but there's nothing
hugely wrong with them - although I concede that the walls tend to be thin
enough that you hear your next door neighbour snoring and the bathrooms can
be a bit whiffy. Perhaps not Southwark though because it's the other side
of the river and public transport is a bit limited.

I had a quick browse for the nights of Aug 28-30 and couldn't find anything
at £19 a night however they do seem to have a sale on here:
http://www.travelodge.co.uk/saver_rooms/ and some of the hotels listed are
much closer to the Porchester Hall than Southwark.

It could be a good site to go hunting - well found.

Travelodge is 2.5 miles away, and gets great ratings on Trip Advisor.
I can't figure out whether that's because it's so cheap (L19/night?)
or whether it's actually a nice place. :)
