It also is a possibility that maybe Dave is losing his hearing a bit also
. If he did mix Knights of Space , Reading  92 ,Glastonbury 90 ,etc in the
home studio ,maybe he really does think that they sound good . After all ,he
is 60+  years old. His age plus the fact he is a musician maybe is affecting
his hearing. And after all ,who would actually tell him if they didn't like
the mixing job if he did in fact do it? Mr Dibbs? Tim Blake?
