Trev and Kev have broken all the rules - Can this be a new form of music? Psychedelic Space Rock is supposed to be serious music played by electric bands, that don't also include Country and Western, Rock 'n' Roll, or Madonna songs in their set. Well here is the exception that breaks the rules, as you might expect from a duo fronted by Judge Trev of INNER CITY UNIT - the seminal psychedelic punk band that reached No. 1 in the Indie charts with a song about the Bader-Meinhof gang! Yes, there is agit-prop here too. Judge Trev, Hawkwind composer, has penned two new and unreleased songs for this album, "The Lost Battle Between Democracy and Capitalism" and a first version of "The Ballad of Fred Goodwin".
Mix this with a good helping of Laurel and Hardy-type humour and you have one of the most enjoyable and eye-opening live albums from this year's festivals.
