OFF: Them Crooked Vultures

So, I don't know how many people caught wind of this beforehand.  I
just got lucky; someone on the Hawkwind list mentioned it a couple
weeks ago, and I managed to catch them at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC
Thurs night.

Them Crooked Vultures:
Josh Homme guitar
John Paul Jones bass
Dave Grohl drums

The review is basically spot on (barring one howler of a misconception
that the reviewer has, which I'm sure people who have been following
the career of Josh Homme will pick up).  ;-)

It was an absolutely *monster* rock and roll show.  If you get a
chance to see them, I highly, highly recommend it.
