Hawkwind on (Vintage) TV

Just watching series 4 of Callan (with Edward Woodward) and was totally and
utterly surprised that a series broadcast in 1972, and the episode *Charlie
Says It's Goodbye, *which features a young hitman recruited by a Polish
intelligence officer, has, in his flat has Shouldn't Do That blaring out!

The Polish officer does say "turn off that ridiculous music"

Is this possibly the earliest known instance of Hawkwind being used in a TV
show as incidental music?
