Just got word that Hawkwind has been named as a performer at Golden Plains music festival. I rather like their description of the type of bands that they look for "the most magnificent of musical mavericks".

It's a two day camping festival, almost in the middle of nowhere in Victoria, Australia. 12th to 14th of March 2011. The final day allows for a late checkout.
