If I'm right they never reissued "Fire of Unknown Origin," "Mirrors" or
"Cultosaurus Erectus" with extra tracks, did they? That"Some Enchanted Evening"
reissue is a goodie.

Right. BOC only has Buck and Eric from the original line-up. The "other guys"
(Jules Radono on drums, Richie Castellano on guitar/keys and formerly on bass,
and the awesome Rudy Sarzo on bass) are great in their own right and do breathe
some life into the live BOC act, but they're just a touring band these days (not
that there's anything wrong with that). Allen Lanier...well, I can't say I know
what's up with the guy, but by the time he left the band now over 5 years ago,
he looked and played as shell of his former self - I don't mean to knock the
guy, but it was no secret that he physically couldn't handle touring anymore.
The Bouchards may not tour quite as much as BOC, but they are still putting out
new music - my guess is that if/when a day comes that they can't tour, they'll
still be putting out music.
The more harsh reality though, is that at this point, any sort of "reunion"
project would be excitely welcomed by a few hundred fans (maybe a few
thousand?), and that's it. And I don't assume you could add lasers in any way
for a club-sized gig. I mean, look at the BOC remasters. Those of us that
bought them I think were very happy to have them, but commercially it appears
they were a bust - so much that Sony appears to have pulled the plug on
completing the project. A real shame - I was just listening to the first 3 BOC
albums the other day and love the bonus tracks. And a bonus DVD of the laser
era show included with *Some Enchanted Evening* (my first BOC album)? Well how
COOL is that? And yet, sales were lackluster.
Here's a comparison for you - when KISS did their big reunion thing in 1996,
Peter Criss had been out of the band for 15 years. Albert has been out of BOC
for nearly 30...
